The truck comes first
Every decision gets measured against one question: does this put more money in the carrier’s pocket? If it does not, we do not do it.
Our story
Why we exist
Frank Castellano ran his own authority for eighteen years. He knew the loadboard, he knew the brokers, and he still lost weekends to rate calls and evenings to invoicing. What bothered him most was watching newer carriers — good drivers with clean records — take $1.80 a mile on lanes paying $2.60 because nobody had told them what the freight was worth.
We built Grey Expedite Logistics on a simple premise: a dispatch service should be worth more than it costs, and it should be able to show that on a settlement sheet.
Today we dispatch across all 48 contiguous states for owner-operators and fleets running dry van, reefer, flatbed and power only. The premise has not changed. Neither has the rule that a real person answers the phone at 3:00 in the morning.
What we hold to
Every decision gets measured against one question: does this put more money in the carrier’s pocket? If it does not, we do not do it.
We tell you when a lane is soft, when your authority is too new for a broker, and when a load is not worth running. Comfortable lies cost carriers more than hard truths.
You approve every load before it is booked. A dispatcher who books over your head is gambling with your equipment and your clock.
Working with us
We hire dispatchers who have either driven or brokered — people who know what a bad load does to a driver’s week. If you can negotiate, stay calm at 3:00 AM and tell a carrier the truth when the news is bad, we want to talk.
